Provision of 400,000 tons of certified wheat seeds for the next crop year

The supervisor of the wheat project stated: In order to support wheat farmers, in addition to certified and labeled seeds, we have provided basic fertilizers such as nitrogen, phosphate and potash with a 48% price reduction compared to last year for the next crop year.

Sohrab Sohrabi pointed to the credit line of 5 thousand billion tomans for agricultural mechanization this year and stated: a part of this facility is planned for the purchase of machinery and tractors needed for land and crops.

The supervisor of the wheat project of the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad stated: One of the concerns of farmers is the high costs and timely supply of inputs for wheat cultivation, which is solved through contract cultivation, and farmers pay for the received inputs from the guaranteed purchase amount when the product is delivered

He reminded: In the current crop year, contract cultivation of wheat was done on 250 thousand hectares of irrigated lands in 17 provinces of the country.
