Meet the Editor-in-Chief

Dr. Mansoor Ansary is the Editor-in-Chief of the Agricultural Future of the World (Kaj Press), the Managing Director of Agricultural Infrastructure Industries Magazine, and the former Editor of the Towards Economic Agriculture magazine. He holds a PhD in Political Science, specializing in Political Thought, from Allameh Tabataba’i University.

Dr. Ansari began his professional career in 1983 at the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA). After passing the agency’s competitive entrance exam, he entered the field of information and media as a political commentator and reporter.

Prior to his journalistic career, he served as a reserve officer (Second Lieutenant) on the front lines of the Iran-Iraq war from 1980 to 1982. His continuous presence in the central operational zones, including Fakkeh, Chenaneh, Ain al-Khosh, Gareh, Musian, and Dehloran, as well as his command of platoons and battalions in several operations, including Fath al-Mobin, led to him receiving the official “Sacrifice Card” (Ithargari).

Following his service at the news agency, he began his work in specialized agricultural journals in 1989. He took responsibility for publishing the magazine Damparvaran (Livestock Breeders), which later, under his management, was renamed Agricultural Infrastructure Industries. Dr. Ansari has devoted his focus to research, study, and expert analysis in the field of agricultural political economy, and his analytical works are accessible in digital archives.

In the course of his field studies, he has undertaken over 50 professional trips to various countries across Asia, Europe, and Canada. The purpose of these trips was to engage in dialogue with agricultural economics and trade managers and to transfer global experiences to leading farmers in Iran.
