To commemoration the World Soil Day, a ceremony was held by Water and Soil assistance of agriculture ministry. In this ceremony, Eng. Hojati, agriculture minister, water and soil assistance, Eng. Akbari, other assistants and water and soil director generals, FAO representative in Iran, 15 ambassadors, few representatives from ECO, Simmit, ICARDA, and more than 200 experts and reporters were attended.
In the beginning, Eng. Akbari pointed to the global anxieties about soil and added the soil protection is changed to a severe problem all over the world. So, FAO has a special attention to the matter |
